My name is Rhian Gerard.
Basically my job is to work with Fleur in the management of Synergy Youth Centre.
My favourite hobby is surfing although I spend most of my time getting a sun tan and not doing a whole lot of surfing.
I love food and enjoyed Friday Night Cook-ups at the youth centre.
I am very approachable and would be happy to have a chat or answer any questions you have.

Im currently studying my Bachelor of Arts/Social Work.
In my spare time I like to play soccer and listen to loud music.

Hi my name is Fleur and I have been a Youth Worker at Synergy Youth Centre for about two years now. I have worked in the field of youth work for about 5 years. I started out at Uni in 2001, completing a Bachelor degree majoring in Criminology and a minor in Psychology by 2004 at Bond University in Queensland. In 2002 I took a break from Uni and set out on the trip of a lifetime time, scoring a job onboard the HM Bark Endeavour replica sailing from Fremantle, Perth to Whitby, England.

After this I returned to Uni in Queensland to complete my degree. Before joining the team at Lane Cove Council, I worked for Street Smart Youth Services delivering life skills programs to young women, as well as working as a Youth Worker for the Department of Community Services (Brisbane Youth Detention Centre) for 2 years before moving to my new home in Sydney.

I am delighted to be working at Synergy Youth Centre and I look forward to seeing you there! :)
